Finding The Right Cause
Contact Ace Engine by email or call us. To streamline our efforts please fill out our initial consultation form, we will go through each of the items during our first meeting.
example: ~ September ~ Our search for worthwhile causes that could benefit the most from AidJoy's unique services recently led us to Project Amazonas and their commitment to providing healthcare to the people of the Peruvian Amazon.
We researched the history of their organization and their partnerships:
- Peru's Loreto region Ministry of Health
- University of Mississippi School of Medicine
- Rivers of the World (ROW)
We found them to be a hardworking, dedicated non-profit.
Next we researched their program initiatives in medical, sociology, and biology journals and came to the conclusion that Project Amazonas was addressing serious problems and providing real solutions.

Going To The Cause
example: ~ November ~ we traveled to Iquitos Peru and interviewed doctors, nurses, dentists, patients, medical students and government officials in order to get firsthand information about the state of the healthcare system in the Peruvian Amazon. We toured the hospitals and the health centers. We took thousands of photographs and recorded many hours of audio. The story was beginning to unfold.
After Iquitos we headed into the Amazon with Project Amazonas aboard their hospital boat, the 72' river launch "M/N Tucunare", and participated in medical clinics in five villages along the Rio Mazan. We interviewed the patients, village leaders, and health promoters in each village. We photographed and recorded the entire process and documented every medical case in each village. We gained a firm understanding of the level of healthcare Project Amazonas was able to provide and how positively it affected the quality of life for the people of the Amazon.
For contrast, we loaded up a smaller motorboat and traveled steadily for two days into a region of the jungle that did not receive medical assistance from the hospital boat. The dire conditions we encountered and documented were vastly different from those inside the radius of care provided by Project Amazonas.

WORK, WORK, WORK
example: Team AidJoy relentlessly pursued this story. Sixteen hour workdays were the norm for the two and a half weeks we spent in Peru. Many people questioned our sanity when they witnessed our intensity and drive. We returned home with over 10,000 photographs from the Peruvian Amazon, over one hundred interviews, and a clear understanding of what the conditions were, how to improve them, and why humanity as a whole should be concerned about this very important corner of our world.
The AidJoy team embraces the fully involved approach of Investigative Journalism. We aggressively pursue the story and get the facts that matter. Whether hand-rolling thousands of cotton balls for a medical clinic or spearheading a rescue mission to save a four year old Amazonian girl's life, AidJoy reporters frequently find themselves deeply involved in the story and loving every minute of it!
Sixteen plus hour workdays are normal for our reporters.
We can work in any conditions in any location.
There is no stopping us- period.
